Freedom Housing

Disability Rights -- Freedom Housing is designed to accommodate persons with disabilities and their families under the same roof.

Inspired by Pamela Iliopoulos, Chris's late wife and the mother of Katherine and Andrew, who suffered a disability for more than 30 years, Freedom Housing is designed to alleviate the stress and struggle faced by family members living with and caring for a loved one with a disability.

Freedom Housing is a private state of the art care and accommodation model.

Freedom Housing is suitable for persons with a disability - and for elderly persons - who wish to live at home with family or with friends.

Freedom Housing is a private housing model. Houses may be privately owned by owner-occupiers, or they may be leased by tenants from investor landlords.

If you are a person with disabilities who wishes to exit from a nursing home, or from group accommodation, to live independently - in your preferred community - with people of your choosing, and even to work from home, Freedom Housing is what you are looking for.

Freedom Housing is the 'iPhone' of care and accommodation: flexible, versatile, highly efficient, and affordable.

Unlike nursing homes and group accommodation models, Freedom Housing does fully honour the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Freedom Housing is a finalist in the Business category of the Human Rights Awards, to be announced on 10 December 2013 in Sydney.
